2009 Intern Activity Schedule

RLI interns keep busy! To complement the hands-on mentoring you'll receive, we created a program of activities that provides a broad understanding of our business, encourages innovative thinking, and helps you develop as an individual.

Intern Development Events Synopses
The following Intern development events were developed to provide the interns with relevant, professional information from a variety of sources. For the events hosted at RLI, interns will receive a complimentary lunch. Each development event will last from 75 to 90 minutes.

Orientation
Interns will review the company policies and participate in team building activities.

Company overview and culture
Jon Michael (CEO) and Jeff Fick (VP-HR) will explain the importance of RLI history and culture.

RLI products
Craig Kliethermes (VP-Risk Services) will inform interns of the wide variety of products that RLI offers.

Presentation techniques
Jill Bremer from Bremer Communications will help interns prepare for their final presentations.

Financial aspects of the insurance industry
Joe Dondanville (CFO) will discuss financial aspects of the insurance industry.

Chiefs game
Interns will enjoy dinner and a baseball game in RLI's box.

Career planning
Heather Acerra (AVP) will provide information on career development.

Final presentations
All interns will share their RLI experience to their supervisors and the executive team.
