Good neighbors make for strong communities. At RLI, we work hard to be the best of neighbors.

We know our financial support and the personal involvement of our people can make a real difference. That’s why we support hundreds of community organizations through contributions, special events and volunteerism.

Contributions

RLI’s matching gifts program demonstrates our commitment to the organizations valued by our employees. Employees’ monetary contributions to charitable / cultural organizations or educational institutions of their choice are matched by RLI up to a limit determined annually.

In addition, RLI is proud to make significant annual donations to organizations working to improve their communities.

United Way

Since 1990, RLI has been an active supporter of the United Way’s annual fund drive. Working through the Heart of Illinois United Way, we facilitate donations from all of our branch offices to ensure these contributions go directly to organizations in those regions.

Community Service

An RLI associate is “driven,” and that shows in the thousands of community service hours they volunteer with hundreds of local organizations. From food and blood drives, to fundraising walks and runs, to active leadership in youth-oriented organizations, RLI associates choose to make their communities a better place to live through active, engaged participation. And we couldn’t be more proud of them!
