John E. Robison
Treasurer, Chief Investment Officer
Responsible for overseeing the company’s investment
portfolio, analyzing asset allocation, selecting,
managing and evaluating RLI’s external investment
managers, and investor relations.
Robison came to RLI in 2004 from National Interstate
Insurance in Richfield, Ohio. As director of
investments, he developed and implemented investment
policies, asset allocation and strategies. He also
served as investment portfolio manager at the Westfield
Companies, where he developed and implemented fixed
income and equity strategies to maximize portfolio
income and total return.
He earned a BBA in Finance from Kent State University
(1989) and an MBA from Xavier University (1995).
