Every A&E business faces risks, and they can never be entirely prevented. They can, however, be minimized through risk management programs. Our goal is to help you reduce the likelihood of losses resulting from most risks design professionals face.
Our continuing education program provides the education resources design firms need. The DPLE series offers more than 125 courses that have been approved by the AIA for continuing education learning units. Learn more about our DPLE Series.
RLI facilitates a broker-insured conversation near policy renewal dates, reviewing a number of best-practice procedures every design firm should consider adopting to mitigate potential loss and improve the firm’s operations. The reviews cover standard contract language, sub-consultant certificate of insurance procedures, client selection, quality management and project planning.
Please contact Vince Costello to coordinate the procedure review process.
This program includes a review of the AIA Financial Management Best Practices white paper to help A&E firms understand the key performance indicators of sound financial management and completion of the RLI Financial Management Supplemental Application.
This program includes a dynamic project risk management matrix and to help A&E firms effectively identify, assess, manage and control the risks associated with the projects they engage in. Guidelines for using the matrix and additional risk management best practices are provided in the project risk management matrix instruction guide.
As a holistic provider of risk solutions for design professionals, RLI posts brief one-page alerts for our policyholders on topics intended to address auto safety, workplace safety, protecting property, emergency preparedness, and other areas of concern.
