Availability
Throughout the U.S. with the following exceptions: Policies cannot be domiciled in or significantly operating in AK, HI, LA, MA, MT, NM, NJ, NV, or NY. We define significantly operating as more than 20 to 25% of the exposure occurring within these locations. Hired/non-owned only policies cannot be domiciled in ME or TX. We are not targeting risks in South FL (south of Lake Okeechobee), South Texas (south of Houston), Los Angeles County, San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Marin and Alameda Counties), Cook County IL or metro NJ. We can consider risks with minimal or incidental exposure in unfavorable venues if the risk is not domiciled there.

Not an agent or broker?

If you have agriculture operations and are interested in transportation insurance, ask your insurance agent or broker for a quote from RLI.

Agriculture specific criteria

  • Minimum premium of $10,000
  • Multi-state operations
  • Limits up to a $5,000,000 combined single limit
  • CA MCP filings are available
  • Symbol 10 policies are available
  • Local operating radius preferred, but we can consider some intermediate-radius exposure
  • Fleets primarily consist of light/medium trucks. Targeting risks with 25% or less heavy and extra heavy unit mix. We may consider risks with a slightly higher than targeted heavy and extra heavy truck mix in this class as long as operations are largely local or there is low over-the-road utilization for these units.
