Policies cannot be domiciled in AK, HI, LA, ME, MT, NV, NY or TX. Not targeting risks domiciled in or primarily operating in South Florida (south of Lake Okeechobee), South Texas (south of Houston), Los Angeles County in California, the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Marin and Alameda counties), Cook County in Illinois or metro New Jersey. Policies also cannot be domiciled in TX and ME for standalone HNOA policies. We define primarily operating in as more than 20-25% of the exposure is occurring there.

Minimum premium of $10,000
Hired and non-owned fleets of all sizes
Multi-state operations
Local/intermediate radius of hired & non-owned operators preferred
Insureds that have less than one year of operating experience are not a fit
Accounts with large seasonal exposure are not a fit
Symbol 10 policies are available

Submission clearance requirements

ACORD 125 and ACORD 137
Completed RLI Hired & Non-Owned Questionnaire
4 years of currently valued hard copy loss runs with details on all losses over $25,000
Drivers list with dates of birth, dates of hire, drivers’ license numbers and states (in Microsoft Excel if possible)

Additional requirements

Two most recent year-end, audited financial statements, balance sheet and income statement
Current MVRs for all drivers or up to a 100 MVR sample that is picked by RLI

If financial statements do not meet RLI minimum guidelines, we will not be able to offer a quote.

We may be able to waive financial requirements if annualized premiums are under $250,000 and there are no indications of financial strain.
